El valor cutoff para NT-proBNP es 125 pg/ml, para individuos menores de 75 años (450 para aquellos mayores de 75 años). Los valores de NYHA I y II para el ensayo Elecsys proBNP son 341 pg/ml y 951 pg/ml respectivamente. Esto nos indica que Elecsys proBNP puede detectar la enfermedad precozmente con una gran precisión¹.
